Directions:
Travel south on Highway 158 through Nags Head, beyond Tanger Outlet Mall, bearing right through Whalebone Junction onto the Manteo Causeway. Cross the Washington Baum bridge and at the second traffic light, turn right at the intersection of US 64/264 to Manteo. Continue on to the intersection at Burnside Road. Turn left at Burnside and go one block and turn right onto George Howe Street. The home is about 1000 feet on the left.

Returning GI’s, coming home after the war, needed a place to live and William Levitt used the mass produced auto as a model for the construction of thousands of homes on the suburbs of NY.
