Travel south on Highway 158 through Nags Head, beyond Tanger Outlet Mall, bearing right through Whalebone Junction onto the Manteo Causeway. Cross the Washington Baum bridge and at the second traffic light, turn right at the intersection of US 64/264 to Manteo. Continue on through the Town of Manteo toward the north end of Roanoke Island until you approach the Manns Harbor bridge. Turn left onto Croatan Woods Trail, about 1/4 mile before the bridge.
