- How is the Parade affected by Covid-19?
- The 2021 Parade of Homes will be available online as a Virtual Parade only this year. You can tour the homes beginning October 7th online but you will not be able to walk through the homes as in years past.
- Does it cost anything to view the homes online?
- There is no cost to view the homes online, however there is an option to make a donation to the Outer Banks Home Builders' Association charitable fund.
- Will I be able to vote for my favorite houses in the Peoples' Choice Awards?
- Yes, voting is open only for the dates between October 7th - 10th. Once voting is closed, the winners will be announced and tagged on the website and FaceBook page.
- How can I communicate with the Participating Builders?
- All of the participating builders are making every effort to be available to the public during the dates of October 7th-10th. They can be reached by their email address or phone number to answer your questions.
- How are the homes categorized?
- To make the voting and judging process fair, the homes are grouped by the raw cost to build the house only. This excludes the lot and pool. Raw costs are not published in the home descriptions, but retail costs to purchase the home or a home similar to are shown.
- Is there a Parade of Homes Magazine?
- Unfortunately, there will not be a printed version of the magazine this year. There is an online version of the magazine with all of the information for the homes, advertisements for Associate Member companies, and builder contact information. This virtual magazine will look just like the printed magazines in the past.
- How can I stay up to date and interact with the Parade of Homes?
